Bylaws are referenced and were consulted to create the areas. These feature are representations and the most current bylaw should always be consulted for confirmation. The feature class contains an attribute called Finance Service Code which is based on the code from the 2010 Requisition Summary. The service type code is a general code for this feature class only.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">How To Update</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>1. Contact Finance (formerly Boeing Quan) as to the latest/greatest digital version of the document.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>2. Compare the Finance Service Code in adServiceAreas to those in the Requisition Summary. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>a. Make notes on those that are in only the GIS data (should probably be set to removed) or are only in the Requisition Summary (to be added, you’ll need to get the bylaws and details).</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>b. Check each RS (Requisition Summary) item for the current bylaw and update the GIS data if needed. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>c. Check that the geographical area of the GIS feature is comparable to the RS item (i.e. if the RS item says it charges Langford, Colwood and Metchosin, but the GIS feature only covers Langford, get the bylaws and update as needed)</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>If you don’t have access to the Bylaw Management System (it’s an MS Word Add-In) ask Helpdesk to install. This may need approval by supervisors.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
