Description: Sensitive Ecosystem polygons designated by The Conservation Data Centre. This is an updated 2004 version which has modifed some polygons based on 2002 orthophotos. Additional fields have been added to indicate if a polygon is now considered disturbed and no longer sensitive. This SEI disturbance mapping project was done by the Canadian Wildlife Service as part of the joint Environment Canada (CWS), MSRM, and WLAP SEI. Refer to http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/sei for more information. Data also includes new data provided by external consultant conducting SEI surveys in the Otter Point and Shirley-Jordan River areas. See JDF Planning for more information on those specific areas. Data for Otter Point and Shirley Jordan River can be found in U:\Archive\Raw_Data_From_Outside_Sources\PrivateCompany. Data merged under direction of JDF Planning office. During updates, please do not delete this data.
